LinkedIn Focus is a Chrome extension designed to enhance your LinkedIn experience by filtering out repetitive, low-quality, or "cringe-worthy" content from your feed. Your privacy is important to us, and this policy outlines what data is and isn’t collected, stored, or shared.

What We Collect

• Local User Settings: Your preferences like cringe score threshold, custom keywords, and excluded profiles are stored locally on your device using chrome.storage.local.
• Leaderboard Data: Counts of filtered posts by profile URL are also stored locally to generate your own private leaderboard.
• Optional Groq API Key: If you provide your own key, it is stored locally and only used to score post content via the Groq API. It is never shared or synced.

What We Don't Collect

• No names, emails, or LinkedIn credentials
• No passwords, cookies, or authentication data
• No tracking across websites or tabs
• No data is sent to any server owned by us

Use of AI (Groq)

If you choose to enable Groq-based scoring, post content is sent to Groq’s API for evaluation. This is only done with your explicit key, and we do not see or store any of that data.

Third-Party Access

No data is ever shared with third parties. The extension operates completely client-side unless you choose to connect to Groq.

Your Consent

By installing and using the extension, you agree to this policy. You may delete or disable the extension at any time to remove stored data.
